Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully. By accessing or using Landlord CYA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Landlord CYA ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Landlord CYA platform, including any associated websites, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.3 No Guarantee of Outcomes

We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using the Service, including but not limited to success in RTDRS proceedings, legal disputes, or tenant relations.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LANDLORD CYA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.2 Jurisdiction

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at contact@landlordcya.ca. We will attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

15.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
